Learn how NVUSD created a Wellness Program (a team based MTSS process) to increase health and social emotional supports to of middle school students with minimal extra staff. You will learn how to conduct a universal screen, and plan and monitor tiered interventions for students.
Objective 1
Have an increased understanding of the NVUSD Wellness Program model and how it’s used to integrate MTSS/PBIS/Restorative Practices at Middle School sites.

Objective 2
Understand how Universal Screening and referral systems as well as intervention strategies and supports are organized, coordinated and progress monitored thru a team-based Wellness Program model.

Objective 3
Learn how to create a Wellness Model at your school without huge investments in extra staff.
