Creative Behavior Systems teaches Trauma Informed is not only ACES Science but an awareness of the high prevalence of physiological and neurological changes to our brains and bodies when adverse impacts have affected our wiring, creating behavioral communicative dysfunction through relationships and thus, systems. Focusing on what can be done to rewire, build and increase resilience individually and systematically not only for our students and families but for our staff. Teaching the basics of behavior and how trauma impacts communicative cycles which then inadvertently reinforce or increase undesired behavior, the importance of creating environments which allow value, acknowledgment and a sense of presence to instill the antidotes to trauma being a sense of belonging in combination with the philosophies from positive behavior, restorative practices all in a connecting and collaborative trauma informed manner.
