Students of color feel overwhelmed, hopeless, struggle with mental health issues, micro-aggressions, racism and feel academically and emotionally unprepared. They don’t seek help compared to white students. When they aren’t supported their hopes and dreams are dashed. Some feel like a fly in a bowl of milk. Alone. They give up. They drop out.
