In this presentation, participants will develop an understanding of how a student's unique history and experiences impact their learning/behaviors/relationships, learn strategies for relationship-building with students who have experienced trauma, practice classroom strategies that build trust and address student mental health needs at different MTSS tiers, and consider the impact that their relationships have on a student's ability to develop resilience and demonstrate strengths and positive values in the classroom.
